Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

TriEdge Technologies manufactures and exports professional cable fault testing equipment. Due to the technical nature of our products, our return policy differs from standard consumer goods returns. We prioritize repair and replacement over refunds.

2. Warranty vs Returns

Product defect / malfunction Covered by 1-year warranty — free repair or replacement
Shipping damage File claim within 7 days of receipt, with photos
Wrong item shipped We arrange return and ship correct item at our cost
Change of mind / ordered wrong model  Not accepted for standard stock items
OEM / customized products  Not accepted under any circumstances

3. Defect / Warranty Claim Process

  • Report defects within 14 days of receipt
  • Provide photos/videos of the issue
  • Diagnosis by our technical team (usually within 2 business days)
  • If confirmed defect: free repair or replacement within 15-25 days
  • Return shipping for defective items: we provide shipping label
  • Warranty covers: manufacturing defects, component failures
  • Warranty does NOT cover: misuse, unauthorized repair, normal wear, damage from improper storage/transport

4. Return Eligibility (For Approved Returns Only)

  • Item must be in original packaging
  • All accessories and manuals included
  • Item must not show signs of use, installation, or field testing
  • Must be returned within 14 days of receiving RMA approval

5. Restocking Fee

  • All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee
  • The fee covers inspection, testing, repackaging, and inventory management

6. Return Shipping

  • Buyer pays return shipping (non-refundable)
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • TriEdge is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit

7. Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Shipping costs (both ways) are non-refundable

8. How to Initiate a Return

Email us at hanyy7@outlook.com with:

  • Order number
  • Product model and serial number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos/videos (if applicable)

We will respond within 24 hours during business days.

9. Non-Returnable Items

  • OEM/customized products (custom branding, packaging, software)
  • Products purchased more than 30 days ago
  • Items with physical damage from misuse
  • Products that have been modified or repaired by unauthorized personnel

10. Shipping Damage

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Inspect immediately upon receipt
  • Take photos of the packaging and product damage
  • Report within 7 days to hanyy7@outlook.com
  • We will file a claim with the shipping carrier and arrange a replacement

11. International Orders

For international (non-China) orders:

  • Return shipping arrangements follow the original FOB terms
  • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are non-refundable
  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees
